Kyle Rittenhouse has proven to be a danger to our community with no regard for the law, his bond conditions, or human lives. He murdered two people in our community and wounded a third, and now, with no one holding him accountable, he is becoming further emboldened and seemingly proud of his actions. Rittenhouse has clear ties to white supremacist groups and no bond amount will keep him behind bars with their support. We march to demand that his bond be revoked, not increased so that we as a community can be safe from him. It has been horrific and re-traumatizing to watch the special treatment and weak bond conditions he has been given after such a horrific crime – especially when so many of our community members have been locked up indefinitely for so much less. Our criminal justice system can no longer favor white murderers so blatantly. Revoke Rittenhouse’s bail!
